Series
Body of work
Each series is a chapter. An emotional arc, a period, an obsession. The fragmented body as a constant, colour as denunciation.
Figurations
2007–2008 · 7 works
First public series. Shown at Galería Teodoro Ramos (Havana, 2007) and Casa Guayasamín (Havana, 2008). Exploration of the body as expressive territory.

Fragmented Bodies
2008 · ongoing · 6 works
Mother conceptual thread running through the whole body of work: the human figure decomposed as a metaphor for a society anchored in a past without future.

Nudes
2008 · 1 work
Series exhibited at Eva Reynolds Gallery (USA, 2008). The nude as an act of vulnerability, not celebration.

After the Silence
2010
Solo show at Galería Carmen Montilla, Havana (2010). Turning point toward a more emotionally charged expressionism.

Voices of Silence
2017
Solo show at Sala La Llotgeta, Fundación CAM, Valencia (2017). Dialogue between figure and void. Critical text: Elvia Rosa Castro Martín — "Los extremos tocantes".

Who Seeks, Finds
2017 · 8 works
Solo show at Galería Movart, Madrid (2017). First major Spanish exhibition. Work marked by displacement and search.

The Island on His Back
2022 · ongoing · 78 works
Cuban period of Víctor Alexis Puig (2022-2026): trapped in Havana, unable to leave, painting with the knowledge that he will soon lose the place he paints. The work becomes an act of resistance and pre-emptive memory — it fixes what is still there, before it ceases to be. The period closes with his irregular departure from the country, physically carrying his paintings and materials, leaving behind home, family and friends. He carries the island on his back into an open destination.

Travesía
2024 · ongoing · 24 works
The artist's migration route 2023-2026: Cuba → Guyana (2024) → Brazil → Spain. Diaspora painted as intimate territory — farewell, hospital, return, shore.

Orun (Spirit world)
