Cuban Art Revolution

A group exhibition organised by Eva Reynolds Gallery in the United States, devoted to presenting contemporary Cuban art to a North American audience. Víctor Alexis Puig took part with works from his figurative expressionist period, a year before his next solo show in Havana. The exhibition brought together several Cuban artists in an effort to build cultural bridges between the two countries.

His participation in this group show consolidated the artist's international presence following his solo exhibition Desnudos (2008) at the same gallery, where he had shown figurative work with the saturated cadmium palette characteristic of his visual language.
