The Fidel We Know

A group exhibition held at the Casa del Alba Cultural in Havana in 2013, organised in the framework of the commemoration of Fidel Castro's birthday. The show brought together Cuban artists who offered their visual interpretations of the historic leader of the Revolution.

Víctor Alexis Puig's participation in this institutional group show stands in contrast to the tension that would later mark his solo exhibition Prueba de Vida (2018), where the social denunciation implicit in his work would provoke the partial censorship of the show.
